Amazon is recruiting tens of thousands of jobs for our US operations, and we’re looking for outstanding talent to join our customer fulfillment, delivery, package sorting, and professional fulfillment teams. To support this work, we conducted an annual fall salary review for these teams in advance and will launch a raise from mid-May to early June.
Amazon employs 75,000 employees in distribution and transportation departments, with an average starting salary of more than $ 17 per hour and a login bonus of up to $ 1,000.
New hires can receive an additional $ 100 if they show proof of the COVID19 vaccine. This will increase safety for all the employees already working for Amazon as well as for new ones.
Amazon recently announced a salary increase on its fulfillment and transportation network. The median starting salary for these vacant positions is over $ 17 an hour, and in many places, there are signing bonuses of up to $ 1,000.
In addition, the company offers industry-leading benefits for full-time employees, including medical, vision, and dental insurance, which match with 50% of the company, paid parental leave, and opportunities for improvement of skills.
Funded by various companies, including Amazon’s Innovative Careers chooses this program to prepay 95% of tuition fees for courses in high-demand fields.
Creating high-paying Amazon jobs, providing generous benefits, and ensuring the health and safety of employees are Amazon’s top priorities. In late March, the company began implementing on-site vaccination activities at its compliance centers in Missouri, Nevada, and Kansas.
The program has now expanded to more than 250 locations in the United States and Canada and has provided more than 500,000 employees, contractors, and first-line partners with COVID19 vaccine opportunities.
In many places, Amazon has also worked with local authorities to increase its vaccination program to employees’ families as part of its promise to employee protection in the workplace and at home.
The Field Vaccine Program joins Amazon’s internal COVID19 testing program, which continues to provide frontline employees with the opportunity to conduct free, voluntary testing at more than 800 sites around the world.
More than 500,000 people will see an increase of at least 50 cents to $3 per hour. In addition, Amazon’s industry-leading starting salary is at least $17 per hour, and Amazon invested more than $2.5 billion in additional bonuses and incentives for top teams last year.
Amazon jobs bring huge benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, paternity leave, ways to save for the future, and opportunities for career development, all of which are ranked as the best in a safe and inclusive environment.
The Amazon jobs requirement for 75,000 positions is in progress. Interested candidates can visit amazon.com/apply for more information, see which positions are vacant, and apply. The most open locations include Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Washington, and Wisconsin.
The other teams are continuing their compensation review plan, which will take place during the remainder of 2021. This year will be more productive as compared to 2020.
