How did Pixies meet?
Pixies were formed in Boston, Massachusetts in January 1986 by Charles Thompson and Joey Santiago, Thompson’s suitemate while studying at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Thompson dropped out of school and moved to Boston, managing to persuade Santiago to join him.
