What is the difference between Apoxie clay and Apoxie sculpt?
they are both about the same in terms of usage, drying time and texture. Magic Sculpt seems to be more dense and tends to be more forgiving when not mixed in absolute equal parts. Apoxie has a tendency to remain just-less-than-fully-cured if equal parts are not used or the climate/temperature is not just right.

Can you use Apoxie Sculpt without gloves?
I highly recommend that you wear gloves. I have developed an allergy to the product after using it several years. Once you develop an allergy it does not go away. It builds up in your system and anytime you come in contact with it you will have an allergic reaction.
Does air dry clay break easily?
A con to building with air dry clay is how fragile it can be. Thin additions like legs, fingers, and ears will easily break off. To avoid small parts breaking off, have students create mixed media pieces. To avoid cracking, keep students from adding a lot of water to the clay when they make slip.

It adheres to glass, metal, plastic, wood, your eyeglasses, your fingernails, tools, etc. so always be sure to constantly and thoroughly clean your hands and your tools. I work now exclusively in Aves Apoxie Sculpt, with a few other materials on the side like air dry LaDoll and Gapoxio (another 2 part ambient set epoxy direct sculpt putty).
What to do when mixing a + B Clay?
Wearing gloves when mixing A+B is not only helpful for clean up, but ensures thorough mixing of the product. To keep the product from sticking to your hands try rubbing a bit of extra virgin olive oil on your finger tips to keep the product from sticking.
