What does GU10 shielded mean?
A shielded bulb has a covering over the small little bulb that contains the filament. In the case of the GU10 bulb, the large opening of the bulb has a covering over the small little bulb inside the base. Some bulb is made without the disc, therefore is good for heat dissipation.
