How are colors formed?
Color is the aspect of things that is caused by differing qualities of light being reflected or emitted by them. To see color, you have to have light. When light shines on an object some colors bounce off the object and others are absorbed by it. Our eyes only see the colors that are bounced off or reflected.
Why do colors reflect their own color?
When atoms or compounds absorb light of the proper frequency, their electrons are excited to higher energy levels. Colored compounds absorb visible (colored) light and this absorption is responsible for their color. Our eyes perceive a mixture of all of the colors, as in the proportions in sunlight, as white light.
Why are colors an illusion?
Color vision relies on a brain perception mechanism that treats light with different wavelengths as different visual stimuli (e.g., colors). Technically, color is an illusion created by our brain. Therefore, it is not clear if other animals see colors the same way we see them.

What color are brains?
The human brain color physically appears to be white, black, and red-pinkish while it is alive and pulsating. Images of pink brains are relative to its actual state. The brains we see in movies are detached from the blood and oxygen flow result to exhibit white, gray, or have a yellow shadow.
Why does blue glow yellow?
Because yellow light is a mixture of red and green light, yellow will also reflect red and green light. Yellow does not contain blue, so it will appear black under blue light. White objects reflect all light, so will appear to be the colour of the light on them.
